Dark sky parks, East Edition

As we noted before, Death Valley National Park was recognized for its stunning levels of darkness. As an astute and talented photographer, Amanda Wilson, pointed out via Twitter,  Pennsylvania — where we are based — has its own dark sky park: Cherry Springs State Park. The 48-acre state park is surrounded by Susquehannock State Forest and considered one of the best places for stargazing and astronomy on the eastern seaboard.
